Han Qiao 喬 瀚
Composer, Morin Khuur player.
born in Inner Mongolia, began studying piano and morin khuur at an early age and learned composition from his father. He released a morin khuur folk song album The Wind from the Sky. In 2023, he was admitted to the Composition Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, studying under Professors Xiang Min and Zhu He. His music explores the micro-dimensions of sound and integrates diverse cultures and instruments, aiming to reflect on philosophical, cultural, and social themes through art. His works span solo, chamber, orchestral, and electronic music, across styles including contemporary classical, jazz, pop, and film scoring. He has collaborated with Ensemble Nomad, Ensemble Borneo, among others, and his works have been performed in China, Japan, and Malaysia, and published by several music publishers. He has received numerous national and international awards, including the Xinghai Cup, Yanhuang Cup, Sunshine Cup, AIMA, and Artiste en Herbe.
